Wisbech Cottages
Cottages for families and friends in and around Wisbech

Many holiday cottages to discover!

To make the best of your trip in Wisbech, we recommend you bring some essential items. Rainproof clothing and a light umbrella should be the first things to pack. The rain only comes when you are not prepared.

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. We find it really hard to decide which type of cottage we like best. Generally we just enjoy going away!

Wisbech Accomodation

Wherever you stay in Wisbech there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. You can never truly rely on the weather in Wisbech Cambridgeshire or frankly anywhere in the UK.

When the weather takes a turn for the worse its a great time to stay indoors and play some classic family games. Some cottages will provide a few books and magazines but you aren't likely to get the latest blockbuster or this month's Vogue.

Whatever you decide, we're sure it will be a memorable part of your cottage holiday in Wisbech.

Holiday Cottages

Before you start to research your holiday accommodation, it's worth asking everyone what they are looking for. If you have young kids in the party you may want to think twice about open fires, and of course some of the oldest cottages may have lower ceilings than those you are used to.

Many Wisbech visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Wisbech cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

We want you to have a great Cambridgeshire holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Families, Friends and More

We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in Wisbech. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! For many people the idea of a Wisbech cottage holiday allows them to relax, take long rambling walks and stop off at a country pub for a pint and a ploughman's lunch.

There's also a growing number of holidaymakers who just want to get really energetic and try new things, including abseiling, rafting, climbing and even potholing.
