We always make sure we take a good book. There's always plenty of downtime on a cottage holiday, and so it's a great time to catch up on a read. There are obviously local stores that can supply you with all the food you need, but we always like to arrive with coffee, tea bags, a pint of milk, a bar of chocolate and some bread and butter for the toaster - it's good to get the energy up after a long journey. We're often asked which is the best place to stay, and it's so hard to answer, it really depends what you are looking for.

WA2 Accomodation

Wherever you stay in WA2 there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. You can never truly rely on the weather in WA2 or frankly anywhere in the UK.

If the rainclouds arrive it may be a good idea to stay inside and get out a pack of cards or an old fashioned board game. Many cottages now have DVD players so maybe its worth taking a few a classic movies with you.

Or just ignore the rain and get on with whatever you had initially planned and be determined that a little water will not spoil the day.

Holiday Cottages

When you choose your WA2 accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in WA2 with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to WA2 with you. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the WA2 cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a cottage found through us!

Families, Friends and More

The fact that guests are on holiday in WA2 in a rental home together, sometimes with three generations in larger rental holiday homes, brings a much different atmosphere to the cottage break or holiday. When you're so focused on the final destination, its easy to forget to pack some of the basics, so here are a few tips.

If your kids ideal break is to be locked in their room with a video games machine, then prepare the outside adventure with bikes, kites and other stuff to get them out having fun. A long car journey can turn the most engaged children into bored zombies, so take some snacks and have a few games ready to play.

You'll need to think about a few of their favourite books and games to help them feel at home in the cottage and settle in for a good nights sleep.
