Your chosen cottage should be clean and tidy on arrival, and if it is not you should inform the owner or agency immediately so that they can sort it out swiftly. Always check with the Tunbridge Wells cottage owner before you take pets - although many are pet friendly. Our great value holiday cottages to rent in Tunbridge Wells are sometimes available for rent for a weekend, week, fortnight, two weeks or even longer.

Tunbridge Wells Accomodation

The rates for Tunbridge Wells cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. The school summer holidays generally run from the middle of July to late August.

Summer half-term usually appears in the first couple of weeks in June, although different types of schools have different dates. Last minute bookings are alway possible, though clearly your choices will be fewer. It really is worth booking early.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

Holiday Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to Tunbridge Wells, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. If you're travelling to Tunbridge Wells in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a cottage found through us!

Families, Friends and More

There are few better ways to spend a holiday together as a family than in a holiday cottage where everyone truly is in one place, not dotted around a hotel. Young children can make your stay even more fun, and we have a few suggestions of things to bring.

First of all, make sure you remember their shampoo, since not all stores in Tunbridge Wells will carry tear-free shampoo. If the children are really young, don't forget to take nappies and / or a potty as you may find it harder to buy these at your destination.

Finally, remember to take your camera - there's nothing better than seeing smiling, happy faces running around and you'll want to capture them.
