Many holiday cottages to discover!

If you want to have the best cottage holiday possible in Trondra, we suggest a few key items to take along. Preparing for a little rain is always a good plan. An umbrella and an anorak or rain coat can get everyone smiling even on the worse days.

We always make sure we take a good book. There's always plenty of downtime on a cottage holiday, and so it's a great time to catch up on a read. There are obviously local stores that can supply you with all the food you need, but we always like to arrive with coffee, tea bags, a pint of milk, a bar of chocolate and some bread and butter for the toaster - it's good to get the energy up after a long journey. We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

Trondra Accomodation

Children love to get out of the cottage (not because the cottages aren't great, but because its fun to play outside!) and this is a great benefit of staying in a country cottage. Great weather can never be guaranteed for every day, and there's obviously a chance of a downpour.

Although its great to be outside in Trondra, you can often have just as much fun with your friends or family if you stay in and play some games. With wi-fi more and more common (but don't expect urban speeds) you could even download a few great tv shows or games.

Wer're sure you'll come up with a great plan, but it might help to have one in advance. Just in case!

Holiday Cottages

When you choose your Trondra accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. If you're travelling to Trondra in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?

Many Trondra visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Trondra cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a cottage found through us!

Families, Friends and More

Families love cottage holidays because they can run to their own schedule, managing everyone's unique needs in the privacy of a comfortable home. We've prepared a handy shortlist of things to remember for your holiday with kids, just to help the whole experience go well.

First of all, make sure you remember their shampoo, since not all stores in Trondra will carry tear-free shampoo. Check whether the cottage can supply cots or high chairs if you need them - you may be surprised how common this is in Trondra.

And last, but not least, make sure you take your camera to capture the magic of a great fun family holiday before the kids grow up and start their own families!
