For a great stay in the UK with family or friends, holiday cottages are the best way to relax and forget about the stresses of normal life. The vast majority of our self-catering properties are cottages in rural towns and villages, but we do have some city based properties, many of which are apartments. Your chosen cottage should be clean and tidy on arrival, and if it is not you should inform the owner or agency immediately so that they can sort it out swiftly. Or you can just embrace the weather and get out there in a raincoat, splash about, and pretend that you really are still young.

And last, but not least, make sure you take your camera to capture the magic of a great fun family holiday before the kids grow up and start their own families!
