Cottages for families and friends in and around Studley

Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whenever you're travelling to Studley, there are a few things you should always take with you. Rainproof clothing and a light umbrella should be the first things to pack. The rain only comes when you are not prepared.

We think a good book is another essential. Not just an opportunity to catch up on your reading, but also to pass the time waiting for everyone else to get themselves ready, or wait out the rain! And then we always make sure we have good supplies with us when we arrive so that we can sit down and have a cup of coffee and perhaps a piece of cake before we start that boring unpacking! We love finding great new cottages, part of the fun of a holiday is not quite knowing where you're going!

Studley Accomodation

Studley holiday accommodation rates increase in peak season, which is generally around the times of the school summer holidays. The school summer holidays generally run from the middle of July to late August.

The private and state schools tend to have differing half-term dates, but normally the first half of June is summer half-term. It's recommended to make an early booking to ensure your date, especially during high season, but it's not impossible to find a last minute opportunity.

Cottage agencies are growing in size as a greater number of independents sign up with them. As a consumer this has a positive impact - in theory the facilities and standards are kept to a pre-agreed level.

Holiday Cottages

When you choose your Studley accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

Many Studley visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. Many places will accept dogs, but it's always a good idea to double check in advance if it's not mentioned on the booking website.

We want you to have a great Warwickshire holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Families, Friends and More

We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in Studley. No pressure from the owner to eat meals at specific times, when you are self-catering the food is ready when you want it to be ready.

And if you have specific dietary needs, whether that's something relatively common like vegetarianism or a more unusual food allergy, cooking your own food allows you peace of mind. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in Studley.

On the other hand, there's a growing proportion of visitors who use their time away from home to get fitter and try new things - such as mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing.
