Rotherham Cottages
Cottages for families and friends in and around Rotherham

Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whatever time you go to Rotherham, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Preparing for a little rain is always a good plan. An umbrella and an anorak or rain coat can get everyone smiling even on the worse days.

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.

Rotherham Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the Rotherham cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. Great weather can never be guaranteed for every day, and there's obviously a chance of a downpour.

If the rainclouds arrive it may be a good idea to stay inside and get out a pack of cards or an old fashioned board game. If there's a TV in the property then you can sit around a watch re-runs of quiz shows, comedies and whatever else is on.

Whatever you decide, we're sure it will be a memorable part of your cottage holiday in Rotherham.

Holiday Cottages

When you're searching for the best cottage for your stay, make sure that you've thought through the bedroom needs and allocation. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Rotherham with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Many Rotherham visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. If the description of the Rotherham cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

We want you to have a great South Yorkshire holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Families, Friends and More

The fact that guests are on holiday in Rotherham in a rental home together, sometimes with three generations in larger rental holiday homes, brings a much different atmosphere to the cottage break or holiday. We've prepared a handy shortlist of things to remember for your holiday with kids, just to help the whole experience go well.

Its always a good idea to take swim suits even if you don't expect to be near a beach because you may well find a local swimming pool can be great fun. A lot of the cottages we've researched do have some basic infant facilities such as cots and high chairs, so definitely ask if you need them.

Clothes for the full range of weather; just because you don't think that it looks good outside in the rain it doesn't mean that the little ones will agree.
