If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. And then we always make sure we have good supplies with us when we arrive so that we can sit down and have a cup of coffee and perhaps a piece of cake before we start that boring unpacking! Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.

South Wirral Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the South Wirral cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. Great weather can never be guaranteed for every day, and there's obviously a chance of a downpour.

Although its great to be outside in South Wirral, you can often have just as much fun with your friends or family if you stay in and play some games. Many cottages now have DVD players so maybe its worth taking a few a classic movies with you.

Or just ignore the rain and get on with whatever you had initially planned and be determined that a little water will not spoil the day.

Holiday Cottages

When you choose your South Wirral accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. If you have young kids in the party you may want to think twice about open fires, and of course some of the oldest cottages may have lower ceilings than those you are used to.

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to South Wirral with you. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the South Wirral cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Families, Friends and More

We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in South Wirral. It's so much more relaxing when you can eat when it suits you - cooking exactly when you want (and whatever you want).

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in South Wirral.

There's also a growing number of holidaymakers who just want to get really energetic and try new things, including abseiling, rafting, climbing and even potholing.
