We love cottage holidays and Somerset has some really great destinations and properties to rent, for families or groups of friends. Or just ignore the rain and get on with whatever you had initially planned and be determined that a little water will not spoil the day.

We've often found the properties have a list of nearby places to grab a bite or a beer - and if the owners are nearby they may filter down the recommendations based on your needs.
