Rhoose Cottages
Cottages for families and friends in and around Rhoose

Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whatever time you go to Rhoose, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Definitely pack some waterproof clothing. There's no such thing as a guarantee against the rain and there's nothing worse than being stuck inside.

We think a good book is another essential. Not just an opportunity to catch up on your reading, but also to pass the time waiting for everyone else to get themselves ready, or wait out the rain! Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. We find it really hard to decide which type of cottage we like best. Generally we just enjoy going away!

Rhoose Accomodation

Wherever you stay in Rhoose there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. Banking on non-stop sunny weather, however, can be a little short-sighted.

We live in a country where we're no stranger to rain and preparing for the inevitable downpour is always a good idea. Cottage owners sometimes leave a few distractions around the property, such as local magazines or guidebooks.

Alternatively get back in the car, drive to a local pub, and snuggle up for the day in front of a fire and a couple of pints.

Holiday Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Rhoose with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to Rhoose with you. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Rhoose cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Wherever you stay, whether it's in Rhoose or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Families, Friends and More

Self-catering holidays can be the most fun in Rhoose. No pressure from the owner to eat meals at specific times, when you are self-catering the food is ready when you want it to be ready.

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in Rhoose.

For many, however, its a chance to really do something active, from running and mountain biking to swimming and climbing.
