Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whenever you're travelling to Pembroke, there are a few things you should always take with you. Definitely pack some waterproof clothing. There's no such thing as a guarantee against the rain and there's nothing worse than being stuck inside.

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.

Pembroke Accomodation

Throughout the area rates will vary quite a bit throughout the year - clearly the winter is the cheapest time. The school summer holidays generally run from the middle of July to late August.

Summer half-term usually appears in the first couple of weeks in June, although different types of schools have different dates. Although we really encourage you too book your cottage early, there are opportunities for last minute bookings, so it can be worth checking.

In recent years there has been an increase in the size of cottage agencies. Generally speaking that means that someone is always checking the quality of Pembroke accommodation, either in person, or based on customer feedback.

Holiday Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to Pembroke, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Pembroke cottage. Not all places will welcome pets so please make sure that it's either clearly marked on the booking website, or if not drop a quick line to the owner to make sure.

We want you to have a great holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Families, Friends and More

Self-catering holidays can be the most fun in Pembroke. We like the freedom of eating meals when we want. There's something wrong with taking a holiday and then finding out that you have to get up early or you miss the breakfast you've paid for.

You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in Pembroke.

On the other hand, there's a growing proportion of visitors who use their time away from home to get fitter and try new things - such as mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing.
