Many holiday cottages to discover!

Cottage holidays are becoming more and more synonymous with the Great British Break, which is why we have created this site. The vast majority of our self-catering properties are cottages in rural towns and villages, but we do have some city based properties, many of which are apartments.

Large or small cottage, holiday makers have the freedom to eat in, eat out, stay in bed all day and generally come and go as they please - unlike a bed and breakfast. Always check with the PR1 cottage owner before you take pets - although many are pet friendly. We often have late availability cottages to rent in PR1 for all seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter.

PR1 Accomodation

Cottage prices in PR1 will range from high to low throughout the year, but clearly the summer months will be the most expensive as remand increases. Mid-July til the end of August are the core weeks for the PR1 school summer holidays.

Summer half-term usually appears in the first couple of weeks in June, although different types of schools have different dates. Although we really encourage you too book your cottage early, there are opportunities for last minute bookings, so it can be worth checking.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

Holiday Cottages

Before you start to research your holiday accommodation, it's worth asking everyone what they are looking for. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. If the description of the PR1 cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

We want you to have a great holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Families, Friends and More

The fact that guests are on holiday in PR1 in a rental home together, sometimes with three generations in larger rental holiday homes, brings a much different atmosphere to the cottage break or holiday. Young children can make your stay even more fun, and we have a few suggestions of things to bring.

First of all, make sure you remember their shampoo, since not all stores in PR1 will carry tear-free shampoo. If the children are really young, don't forget to take nappies and / or a potty as you may find it harder to buy these at your destination.

Clothes for the full range of weather; just because you don't think that it looks good outside in the rain it doesn't mean that the little ones will agree.
