Cottages for families and friends in and around PE35

Many holiday cottages to discover!

In PE35, whatever time of year, and whoever you are with, we have a few suggestions for essentials to take along. Rainproof clothing and a light umbrella should be the first things to pack. The rain only comes when you are not prepared.

If you have a DVD player in the cottage, definitely take a few great movies. It's so enjoyable to curl up in the evening and watch a classic film. Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

PE35 Accomodation

The rates for PE35 cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. The school summer holidays generally run from the middle of July to late August.

Half term dates are different for different schools, but normally summer half-term is around the first two weeks of June. It's becoming less likely to book the best cottages last minute, but by no means impossible. We recommend you give it a try.

Cottage agencies are growing in size as a greater number of independents sign up with them. As a consumer this has a positive impact - in theory the facilities and standards are kept to a pre-agreed level.

Holiday Cottages

Before you start to research your holiday accommodation, it's worth asking everyone what they are looking for. If you're travelling to PE35 in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?

Most dog owners like to take their four legged friends away with them on trips to PE35. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the PE35 cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Wherever you stay, whether it's in PE35 or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Families, Friends and More

The best part of going on holiday with a family is the sense of comfort you all get when walking into a PE35 holiday cottage - where everything there is designed to make your stay better! Young children can make your stay even more fun, and we have a few suggestions of things to bring.

Its always a good idea to take swim suits even if you don't expect to be near a beach because you may well find a local swimming pool can be great fun. A lot of the cottages we've researched do have some basic infant facilities such as cots and high chairs, so definitely ask if you need them.

And last, but not least, make sure you take your camera to capture the magic of a great fun family holiday before the kids grow up and start their own families!
