Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whatever time you go to Over Peover, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Preparing for a little rain is always a good plan. An umbrella and an anorak or rain coat can get everyone smiling even on the worse days.

We always make sure we take a good book. There's always plenty of downtime on a cottage holiday, and so it's a great time to catch up on a read. Although you can buy your essential food and drink items locally, it's great to have them with you so you can make a sandwich or a cup of coffee as soon as you arrive. Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.

Over Peover Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the Over Peover cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. You can never truly rely on the weather in Over Peover Cheshire or frankly anywhere in the UK.

We live in a country where we're no stranger to rain and preparing for the inevitable downpour is always a good idea. Many cottages now have DVD players so maybe its worth taking a few a classic movies with you.

Or just ignore the rain and get on with whatever you had initially planned and be determined that a little water will not spoil the day.

If you are travelling from abroad, please make sure that you have the correct visas (if required) and all the passports are up to date.

Families, Friends and More

There are few better ways to spend a holiday together as a family than in a holiday cottage where everyone truly is in one place, not dotted around a hotel. Young children can make your stay even more fun, and we have a few suggestions of things to bring.

Although its not to all parents' tastes, you can buy very cheap in-car DVD players to amuse the kids, and they can often be plugged into the standard power sockets when you arrive. If the children are really young, don't forget to take nappies and / or a potty as you may find it harder to buy these at your destination.

Clothes for the full range of weather; just because you don't think that it looks good outside in the rain it doesn't mean that the little ones will agree.
