For a great stay in the UK with family or friends, holiday cottages are the best way to relax and forget about the stresses of normal life. Your chosen cottage should be clean and tidy on arrival, and if it is not you should inform the owner or agency immediately so that they can sort it out swiftly. Nearly all country cottages have free parking near the property, but you may find the urban cottages to have more parking restrictions. Although you may not be familiar with the local area you'll usually find that the owners have left a welcome manual with details of local places to eat, drink and buy supplies.
