We love cottage holidays and Northumberland has some really great destinations and properties to rent, for families or groups of friends. The vast majority of our self-catering properties are cottages in rural towns and villages, but we do have some city based properties, many of which are apartments. The best family rental holiday cottages in Etal are typically small homes for rent that can be treated like your own home for the duration of your cottage holiday. Pet-friendly cottages are on the rise however we do recommend that you ask in advance - unless it's stated on the booking details. We often have late availability cottages to rent in Etal for all seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Everyone owner or lettings agency can have a slightly different cancellation policy so please be sure to check before you make your reservation. Snacks for the car can make the trip to Etal much more pleasant - bored kids with low blood sugar are not the perfect companions. Sometimes just taking a few soft toys from home can make bedtime feel more comfortable in a strange house, and they don't need to take much space in the boot.
