Staying in a Northend holiday cottage can be a perfect way to take a break as you can forget about household chores and focus on having fun, or a relaxing break. Dog owners favour cottage holidays because many properties will not just allow pets but provide a few basic supplies. Our great value holiday cottages to rent in Northend are sometimes available for rent for a weekend, week, fortnight, two weeks or even longer.

Northend Accomodation

The rates for Northend cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. The summer holiday period (for schools) runs from mid-July through the whole of August.

If you want to avoid half-term in the summer, draw a line through the first two weeks of June. Booking early is always a good idea. You have a much better chance of getting your preferred date and accommodation. But, that doesn't mean its impossible to get a late booking.

In recent years there has been an increase in the size of cottage agencies. Generally speaking that means that someone is always checking the quality of Northend accommodation, either in person, or based on customer feedback.

Families, Friends and More

Self-catering holidays can be the most fun in Northend. We like the freedom of eating meals when we want. There's something wrong with taking a holiday and then finding out that you have to get up early or you miss the breakfast you've paid for.

Eat what you want, whenever you want it. And of course that's particularly good if anyone in your party suffers from food allergies or has other dietary requirements. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in Northend.

There's also a growing number of holidaymakers who just want to get really energetic and try new things, including abseiling, rafting, climbing and even potholing.
