Cottage owners expect you to leave the property in the same condition as you found it - clean and tidy - and will almost always provide cleaning materials for you. A larger number of cottages will accept pets (and for pets, read 'dogs') but you must check first. We often have late availability cottages to rent in Roade for all seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Wer're sure you'll come up with a great plan, but it might help to have one in advance.

It is of course possible that you need to cancel your Roade holiday cottage so ensure you read the cancellation terms on the agency or owners website / contract. Although you may not be familiar with the local area you'll usually find that the owners have left a welcome manual with details of local places to eat, drink and buy supplies. Roade has long been popular as a place to stay and we encourage you to investigate the surrounding area as much as possible. A few properties have access to outdoor swimming pools, but please remember that these are often only accessible during the summer months, and that you are responsible for you own safety!
