Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whatever time you go to NP27, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Definitely pack some waterproof clothing. There's no such thing as a guarantee against the rain and there's nothing worse than being stuck inside.

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. There are obviously local stores that can supply you with all the food you need, but we always like to arrive with coffee, tea bags, a pint of milk, a bar of chocolate and some bread and butter for the toaster - it's good to get the energy up after a long journey. We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

NP27 Accomodation

Cottage prices in NP27 will range from high to low throughout the year, but clearly the summer months will be the most expensive as remand increases. School holidays tend to be mid-July to the end of August.

The private and state schools tend to have differing half-term dates, but normally the first half of June is summer half-term. It's recommended to make an early booking to ensure your date, especially during high season, but it's not impossible to find a last minute opportunity.

Cottage agencies are growing in size as a greater number of independents sign up with them. As a consumer this has a positive impact - in theory the facilities and standards are kept to a pre-agreed level.

Holiday Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to NP27, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in NP27 with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. If the description of the NP27 cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

Wherever you stay, whether it's in NP27 or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Families, Friends and More

Families love cottage holidays because they can run to their own schedule, managing everyone's unique needs in the privacy of a comfortable home. Youngsters are always excited about self-catering breaks, but we've collated a short list of things to help it go smoothly!

If your kids ideal break is to be locked in their room with a video games machine, then prepare the outside adventure with bikes, kites and other stuff to get them out having fun. A lot of the cottages we've researched do have some basic infant facilities such as cots and high chairs, so definitely ask if you need them.

Sometimes just taking a few soft toys from home can make bedtime feel more comfortable in a strange house, and they don't need to take much space in the boot.
