FILTER SELECTION
For a great stay in the UK with family or friends, holiday cottages are the best way to relax and forget about the stresses of normal life. We work with many partners to provide the widest selection of self-catering accommodation we can find, and we hope this makes your search much more easy. Your chosen cottage should be clean and tidy on arrival, and if it is not you should inform the owner or agency immediately so that they can sort it out swiftly. Dog owners favour cottage holidays because many properties will not just allow pets but provide a few basic supplies. We often have late availability cottages to rent in Glenlivet for all seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Wherever you stay in Moray there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. Great weather can never be guaranteed for every day, and there's obviously a chance of a downpour. When the weather takes a turn for the worse its a great time to stay indoors and play some classic family games. Cottage owners sometimes leave a few distractions around the property, such as local magazines or guidebooks. Alternatively get back in the car, drive to a local pub, and hole up for the day in front of a fire and a couple of pints.
In the unlikely event that you are not delighted with your holiday cottage in Glenlivet please email or call the agency you made the booking with. Everyone owner or lettings agency can have a slightly different cancellation policy so please be sure to check before you make your reservation. The owners may leave some hints for good places to visit nearby and on occasion we've even found that they'll suggest a specific pub or restaurant where you can get a discount. If you're travelling from a long way, you may not know much about Glenlivet so we suggest a little research in advance to find the best attractions. If you are travelling from abroad, please make sure that you have the correct visas (if required) and all the passports are up to date.

Young children and babies can be more easily accommodated for in a holiday cottage where the parents do not feel pressure from other families who may not have young children. We've prepared a shortlist of things to remember for your holiday with kids, just to help the whole experience go well. Although its not to all parents' tastes, you can buy very cheap in-car DVD players to amuse the kids, and they can often be plugged into the standard power sockets when you arrive. A long car journey can turn the most engaged children into bored zombies, so take some snacks and have a few games ready to play. You'll need to think about a few of their favourite books and games to help them feel at home in the cottage and settle in for a good nights sleep.
