Your chosen cottage should be clean and tidy on arrival, and if it is not you should inform the owner or agency immediately so that they can sort it out swiftly. Dog owners favour cottage holidays because many properties will not just allow pets but provide a few basic supplies. We can help if you're looking for a holiday cottage or other accommodation in Morar to stay in with your family for a week or two or somewhere in Morar to stay with friends over a long weekend.

Morar Accomodation

Getting outside is one of the great benefits of staying in the countryside since so many of us live in urban centres where the air is polluted and greenery is a rarity. As we all know, the weather isn't always idyllic - in fact it can be largely unpredictable.

Although its great to be outside in Morar, you can often have just as much fun with your friends or family if you stay in and play some games. Cottage owners sometimes leave a few distractions around the property, such as local magazines or guidebooks.

Wer're sure you'll come up with a great plan, but it might help to have one in advance. Just in case!

Holiday Cottages

Before you start to research your holiday accommodation, it's worth asking everyone what they are looking for. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Morar cottage. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Don't forget to make the most of your Highland holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Families, Friends and More

The fact that guests are on holiday in Morar in a rental home together, sometimes with three generations in larger rental holiday homes, brings a much different atmosphere to the cottage break or holiday. When you're travelling as a family with young kids there are several things we recommend you take with you.

Whether there's a swimming pool attached to the property, or in the nearby leisure centre, swimming trunks and swimming costumes are easy to forget. Snacks for the car can make the trip to Morar much more pleasant - bored kids with low blood sugar are not the perfect companions.

You'll need to think about a few of their favourite books and games to help them feel at home in the cottage and settle in for a good nights sleep.
