Your chosen cottage should be clean and tidy on arrival, and if it is not you should inform the owner or agency immediately so that they can sort it out swiftly. Always check with the M7 cottage owner before you take pets - although many are pet friendly. We often have late availability cottages to rent in M7 for all seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter.

M7 Accomodation

In M7, high season tends to match the summer school holidays, with mid-season a month either side. The summer holiday period (for schools) runs from mid-July through the whole of August.

Half term dates are different for different schools, but normally summer half-term is around the first two weeks of June. Last minute bookings are alway possible, though clearly your choices will be fewer. It really is worth booking early.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

Holiday Cottages

Our site does not make reservations directly and so we ask that any queries you have with the M7 cottage are taken up with the owner or agency. It is of course possible that you need to cancel your M7 holiday cottage so ensure you read the cancellation terms on the agency or owners website / contract.

Many owners, if they are local, will be pleased to give you tips on the best pubs and restaurants around, so make sure you ask and take advantage of the info! M7 has long been popular as a place to stay and we encourage you to investigate the surrounding area as much as possible.

We hope you have a really enjoyable holiday in M7 and remember us next year when it comes to finding the next great cottage.

Families, Friends and More

Young children and babies can be more easily accommodated for in a holiday cottage where the parents do not feel pressure from other families who may not have young children. Youngsters are always excited about self-catering breaks, but we've collated a short list of things to help it go smoothly!

Although its not to all parents' tastes, you can buy very cheap in-car DVD players to amuse the kids, and they can often be plugged into the standard power sockets when you arrive. If the children are really young, don't forget to take nappies and / or a potty as you may find it harder to buy these at your destination.

Sometimes just taking a few soft toys from home can make bedtime feel more comfortable in a strange house, and they don't need to take much space in the boot.
