Large or small cottage, holiday makers have the freedom to eat in, eat out, stay in bed all day and generally come and go as they please - unlike a bed and breakfast. A larger number of cottages will accept pets (and for pets, read 'dogs') but you must check first. We often have late availability offers on holiday cottages for family or group bookings but you'll obviously get a restricted choice.

Lymington Accomodation

Wherever you stay in Lymington there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. Trusting the sun to shine every day is rather optimistic in Lymington regardless of the time of year.

If you find yourself trapped by the rain in Lymington you should pull out a board game, a good book or perhaps a game of charades! Many cottages now have DVD players so maybe its worth taking a few a classic movies with you.

Alternatively get back in the car, drive to a local pub, and snuggle up for the day in front of a fire and a couple of pints.

All the booking agents we work with have good customer service teams, so please contact them if you have additional questions or encounter any problems. Should you need to cancel your accommodation, again we ask you to contact the agent or owner since we cannot talk to them on your behalf.

Although you may not be familiar with the Lymington area you'll usually find that the owners have left a welcome manual with details of local places to eat, drink and buy supplies. Lymington is a great locations for a cottage holiday due to their proximity to local facilities and amenities.

If you are travelling from abroad, please make sure that you have the correct visas (if required) and all the passports are up to date.

Families, Friends and More

Self-catering holidays can be the most fun in Lymington. We like the freedom of eating meals when we want. There's something wrong with taking a holiday and then finding out that you have to get up early or you miss the breakfast you've paid for.

And if you have specific dietary needs, whether that's something relatively common like vegetarianism or a more unusual food allergy, cooking your own food allows you peace of mind. We know many people who consider a holiday cottage as the perfect way to wind down after a busy urban lifestyle - sleep in, take lazy walks through the countryside and take more time over meals.

For many, however, its a chance to really do something active, from running and mountain biking to swimming and climbing.
