Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whenever you're travelling to Llandudno, there are a few things you should always take with you. Start with something to keep the rain away. You can never really be sure of the weather. An umbrella and a raincoat are a good start!

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.

Llandudno Accomodation

In Llandudno, high season tends to match the summer school holidays, with mid-season a month either side. The summer holiday period (for schools) runs from mid-July through the whole of August.

If you want to avoid half-term in the summer, draw a line through the first two weeks of June. Last minute bookings are alway possible, though clearly your choices will be fewer. It really is worth booking early.

In recent years there has been an increase in the size of cottage agencies. Generally speaking that means that someone is always checking the quality of Llandudno accommodation, either in person, or based on customer feedback.

Holiday Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to Llandudno with you. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Llandudno cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a Conwy cottage found through us!

Families, Friends and More

We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in Llandudno. No pressure from the owner to eat meals at specific times, when you are self-catering the food is ready when you want it to be ready.

You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in Llandudno.

There's also a growing number of holidaymakers who just want to get really energetic and try new things, including abseiling, rafting, climbing and even potholing.
