Many holiday cottages to discover!

If you want to have the best cottage holiday possible in Litlington, we suggest a few key items to take along. You can never be sure of the weather, so take something to protect you from the rain - ideally something that can be packed in a rucksack just in case.

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. There are obviously local stores that can supply you with all the food you need, but we always like to arrive with coffee, tea bags, a pint of milk, a bar of chocolate and some bread and butter for the toaster - it's good to get the energy up after a long journey. We find it really hard to decide which type of cottage we like best. Generally we just enjoy going away!

Litlington Accomodation

The rates for Litlington cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. The summer holiday period (for schools) runs from mid-July through the whole of August.

Half term in the summer extends across the first half of June, as different schools break up at different times. It's recommended to make an early booking to ensure your date, especially during high season, but it's not impossible to find a last minute opportunity.

Many cottage owners have signed themselves up with national agencies to help with the marketing and administration, which also helps keep standards to a certain level.

Holiday Cottages

When you're searching for the best cottage for your stay, make sure that you've thought through the bedroom needs and allocation. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

Most dog owners like to take their four legged friends away with them on trips to Litlington. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Litlington cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Families, Friends and More

There are few better ways to spend a holiday together as a family than in a holiday cottage where everyone truly is in one place, not dotted around a hotel. Youngsters are always excited about self-catering breaks, but we've collated a short list of things to help it go smoothly!

Whether there's a swimming pool attached to the property, or in the nearby leisure centre, swimming trunks and swimming costumes are easy to forget. Snacks for the car can make the trip to Litlington much more pleasant - bored kids with low blood sugar are not the perfect companions.

And last, but not least, make sure you take your camera to capture the magic of a great fun family holiday before the kids grow up and start their own families!
