L8 Cottages
Cottages for families and friends in and around L8

Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whatever time you go to L8, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Start with something to keep the rain away. You can never really be sure of the weather. An umbrella and a raincoat are a good start!

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.

L8 Accomodation

Wherever you stay in L8 there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. As we all know, the weather isn't always idyllic - in fact it can be largely unpredictable.

Although its great to be outside in L8, you can often have just as much fun with your friends or family if you stay in and play some games. If there's a TV in the property then you can sit around a watch re-runs of quiz shows, comedies and whatever else is on.

Alternatively get back in the car, drive to a local pub, and snuggle up for the day in front of a fire and a couple of pints.

Holiday Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to L8, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to L8 with you. If the description of the L8 cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

Wherever you stay, whether it's in L8 or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Families, Friends and More

Self-catering always makes your holiday more relaxing in L8. No worrying about getting to the dining room in time, either before the hotel declares that breakfast is over, or trying to fit in with other b and b guests.

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. A large number of our visitors like to use their stay as an opportunity to just put their feet up, gaze at the scenery, take an afternoon nap, and enjoy a nice home cooked meal. Just taking it easy in L8.

For many, however, its a chance to really do something active, from running and mountain biking to swimming and climbing.
