Kirkoswald Cottages
Cottages for families and friends in and around Kirkoswald

Many holiday cottages to discover!

In Kirkoswald, whatever time of year, and whoever you are with, we have a few suggestions for essentials to take along. Definitely pack some waterproof clothing. There's no such thing as a guarantee against the rain and there's nothing worse than being stuck inside.

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. And then we always make sure we have good supplies with us when we arrive so that we can sit down and have a cup of coffee and perhaps a piece of cake before we start that boring unpacking! We find it really hard to decide which type of cottage we like best. Generally we just enjoy going away!

Kirkoswald Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the Kirkoswald cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. Trusting the sun to shine every day is rather optimistic in Kirkoswald regardless of the time of year.

If you find yourself trapped by the rain in Kirkoswald you should pull out a board game, a good book or perhaps a game of charades! With wi-fi more and more common (but don't expect urban speeds) you could even download a few great tv shows or games.

Whatever you decide, we're sure it will be a memorable part of your cottage holiday in Kirkoswald.

Holiday Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to Kirkoswald, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Kirkoswald cottage. If the description of the Kirkoswald cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a South Ayrshire cottage found through us!

Families, Friends and More

Self-catering is an ideal way to holiday in Kirkoswald. No worrying about getting to the dining room in time, either before the hotel declares that breakfast is over, or trying to fit in with other b and b guests.

Eat what you want, whenever you want it. And of course that's particularly good if anyone in your party suffers from food allergies or has other dietary requirements. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in Kirkoswald.

On the other hand, there's a growing proportion of visitors who use their time away from home to get fitter and try new things - such as mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing.
