Kingscote Cottages
Cottages for families and friends in and around Kingscote

Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whatever time you go to Kingscote, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Definitely pack some waterproof clothing. There's no such thing as a guarantee against the rain and there's nothing worse than being stuck inside.

We always make sure we take a good book. There's always plenty of downtime on a cottage holiday, and so it's a great time to catch up on a read. Although you can buy your essential food and drink items locally, it's great to have them with you so you can make a sandwich or a cup of coffee as soon as you arrive. We find it really hard to decide which type of cottage we like best. Generally we just enjoy going away!

Kingscote Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the Kingscote cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. You can never truly rely on the weather in Kingscote Gloucestershire or frankly anywhere in the UK.

If you find yourself trapped by the rain in Kingscote you should pull out a board game, a good book or perhaps a game of charades! Some cottages will provide a few books and magazines but you aren't likely to get the latest blockbuster or this month's Vogue.

Whatever you decide, we're sure it will be a memorable part of your cottage holiday in Kingscote.

Holiday Cottages

Before you start to research your holiday accommodation, it's worth asking everyone what they are looking for. If you're travelling to Kingscote in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to Kingscote with you. Not all places will welcome pets so please make sure that it's either clearly marked on the booking website, or if not drop a quick line to the owner to make sure.

We want you to have a great Gloucestershire holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Families, Friends and More

Self-catering holidays can be the most fun in Kingscote. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! We know many people who consider a holiday cottage as the perfect way to wind down after a busy urban lifestyle - sleep in, take lazy walks through the countryside and take more time over meals.

But you may want to get out and burn some energy on bikes, climb a hill or mountain, or even try canoeing. Whatever you choose, please take the right clothing and equipment with you.
