Many holiday cottages to discover!

Cottage holidays are becoming more and more synonymous with the Great British Break, which is why we have created this site. With a huge selection of properties, if you can't find what you're looking for on this page, click an image and discover everything else available.

The best family rental holiday cottages in IP4 are typically small homes for rent that can be treated like your own home for the duration of your cottage holiday. A larger number of cottages will accept pets (and for pets, read 'dogs') but you must check first. We often have late availability cottages to rent in IP4 for all seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter.

IP4 Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the IP4 cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. Banking on non-stop sunny weather, however, can be a little short-sighted.

If the rainclouds arrive it may be a good idea to stay inside and get out a pack of cards or an old fashioned board game. Many cottages now have DVD players so maybe its worth taking a few a classic movies with you.

Or you can just embrace the weather and get out there in a raincoat, splash about, and pretend that you really are still young.

Holiday Cottages

Our site does not make reservations directly and so we ask that any queries you have with the IP4 cottage are taken up with the owner or agency. Should you need to cancel your accommodation, again we ask you to contact the agent or owner since we cannot talk to them on your behalf.

Many owners, if they are local, will be pleased to give you tips on the best pubs and restaurants around, so make sure you ask and take advantage of the info! If you're travelling from a long way, you may not know much about IP4 so we suggest a little research in advance to find the best attractions.

We hope you have a really enjoyable holiday in IP4 and remember us next year when it comes to finding the next great cottage.

Families, Friends and More

We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in IP4. We like the freedom of eating meals when we want. There's something wrong with taking a holiday and then finding out that you have to get up early or you miss the breakfast you've paid for.

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. Waking up without the alarm, cooking a nice hearty breakfast, perhaps sitting by the river for a spot of fishing or just reading a book.

For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
