We love cottage holidays and Hampshire has some really great destinations and properties to rent, for families or groups of friends. And booking your Denmead cottage couldn't be simpler, just narrow down the accommodation you're looking for and click on the one you like the most! Staying in a Denmead holiday cottage can be a perfect way to take a break as you can forget about household chores and focus on having fun, or a relaxing break. We know many of our visitors like to take their dogs with them and many cottages now allow this. We often have late availability cottages to rent in Denmead for all seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Children love to get out of the cottage (not because the cottages aren't great, but because its fun to play outside!) and this is a great benefit of staying in a country cottage. Great weather can never be guaranteed for every day, and there's obviously a chance of a downpour. If the rainclouds arrive it may be a good idea to stay inside and get out a pack of cards or an old fashioned board game. Some cottages will provide a few books and magazines but you aren't likely to get the latest blockbuster or this month's Vogue. Alternatively get back in the car, drive to a local pub, and hole up for the day in front of a fire and a couple of pints.
In the unlikely event that you are not delighted with your holiday cottage in Denmead please email or call the agency you made the booking with. It is of course possible that you need to cancel your Denmead holiday cottage so ensure you read the cancellation terms on the agency or owners website / contract. Although you may not be familiar with the local area you'll usually find that the owners have left a welcome manual with details of local places to eat, drink and buy supplies. Denmead cottages range in size and price, but based on our knowledge of the cottage agencies and owners, all should be good quality. Some properties will ask for a security deposit before your arrival date - although this is required in a minority of accommodation and you will be advised at time of booking.

There are few better ways to spend a holiday together as a family than in a holiday cottage where everyone truly is in one place, not dotted around a hotel. Young children can make your stay even more fun, and we have a few suggestions of things to bring. Whether there's a pool attached to the property, or in the nearby leisure centre, swimming trunks and swimming costumes are easy to forget. Check whether the cottage can supply cots or high chairs if you need them - you may be surprised how common this is in Denmead. Clothes for the full range of weather; just because you don't think that it looks good outside in the rain it doesn't mean that the little ones will agree.
