Many holiday cottages to discover!

There's a good reason that cottage holidays are on the rise - they're simply the most fun and best value holidays in the UK. We work with many partners to provide the widest selection of self-catering accommodation we can find, and we hope this makes your search much more easy.

Cottage owners expect you to leave the property in the same condition as you found it - clean and tidy - and will almost always provide cleaning materials for you. Always check with the Hamilton cottage owner before you take pets - although many are pet friendly. Our great value holiday cottages to rent in Hamilton are sometimes available for rent for a weekend, week, fortnight, two weeks or even longer.

Hamilton Accomodation

The rates for Hamilton cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. Mid-July til the end of August are the core weeks for the Hamilton school summer holidays.

The private and state schools tend to have differing half-term dates, but normally the first half of June is summer half-term. Although we really encourage you too book your cottage early, there are opportunities for last minute bookings, so it can be worth checking.

Many cottage owners have signed themselves up with national agencies to help with the marketing and administration, which also helps keep standards to a certain level.

Holiday Cottages

When you choose your Hamilton accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Hamilton with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Many Hamilton visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Hamilton cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Wherever you stay, whether it's in Hamilton or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Families, Friends and More

Young children and babies can be more easily accommodated for in a holiday cottage where the parents do not feel pressure from other families who may not have young children. Youngsters are always excited about self-catering breaks, but we've collated a short list of things to help it go smoothly!

Its always a good idea to take swim suits even if you don't expect to be near a beach because you may well find a local swimming pool can be great fun. If the children are really young, don't forget to take nappies and / or a potty as you may find it harder to buy these at your destination.

Clothes for the full range of weather; just because you don't think that it looks good outside in the rain it doesn't mean that the little ones will agree.
