The best family rental holiday cottages in Fairlight are typically small homes for rent that can be treated like your own home for the duration of your cottage holiday. Always check with the Fairlight cottage owner before you take pets - although many are pet friendly. We can help if you're looking for a holiday cottage or other accommodation in Fairlight to stay in with your family for a week or two or somewhere in Fairlight to stay with friends over a long weekend.

Fairlight Accomodation

Children love to get out of the cottage (not because the cottages aren't great, but because its fun to play outside!) and this is a great benefit of staying in a country cottage. You can never truly rely on the weather in Fairlight East Sussex or frankly anywhere in the UK.

We live in a country where we're no stranger to rain and preparing for the inevitable downpour is always a good idea. Many cottages now have DVD players so maybe its worth taking a few a classic movies with you.

Or you can just embrace the weather and get out there in a raincoat, splash about, and pretend that you really are still young.

Holiday Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Fairlight cottage. Not all places will welcome pets so please make sure that it's either clearly marked on the booking website, or if not drop a quick line to the owner to make sure.

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a East Sussex cottage found through us!

Families, Friends and More

There are few better ways to spend a holiday together as a family than in a holiday cottage where everyone truly is in one place, not dotted around a hotel. Young children can make your stay even more fun, and we have a few suggestions of things to bring.

Its always a good idea to take swim suits even if you don't expect to be near a beach because you may well find a local swimming pool can be great fun. A long car journey can turn the most engaged children into bored zombies, so take some snacks and have a few games ready to play.

Clothes for the full range of weather; just because you don't think that it looks good outside in the rain it doesn't mean that the little ones will agree.
