Many holiday cottages to discover!

Cottage holidays are becoming more and more synonymous with the Great British Break, which is why we have created this site. We work with many partners to provide the widest selection of self-catering accommodation we can find, and we hope this makes your search much more easy.

Your chosen cottage should be clean and tidy on arrival, and if it is not you should inform the owner or agency immediately so that they can sort it out swiftly. Dog owners favour cottage holidays because many properties will not just allow pets but provide a few basic supplies. We can help if you're looking for a holiday cottage or other accommodation in Evanton to stay in with your family for a week or two or somewhere in Evanton to stay with friends over a long weekend.

Evanton Accomodation

Throughout the area rates will vary quite a bit throughout the year - clearly the winter is the cheapest time. Mid-July til the end of August are the core weeks for the Evanton school summer holidays.

Half term dates are different for different schools, but normally summer half-term is around the first two weeks of June. It's becoming less likely to book the best cottages last minute, but by no means impossible. We recommend you give it a try.

In recent years there has been an increase in the size of cottage agencies. Generally speaking that means that someone is always checking the quality of Evanton accommodation, either in person, or based on customer feedback.

Holiday Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. Many places will accept dogs, but it's always a good idea to double check in advance if it's not mentioned on the booking website.

Don't forget to make the most of your holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Families, Friends and More

Families love cottage holidays because they can run to their own schedule, managing everyone's unique needs in the privacy of a comfortable home. Young children can make your stay even more fun, and we have a few suggestions of things to bring.

First of all, make sure you remember their shampoo, since not all stores in Evanton will carry tear-free shampoo. Check whether the cottage can supply cots or high chairs if you need them - you may be surprised how common this is in Evanton.

Finally, remember to take your camera - there's nothing better than seeing smiling, happy faces running around and you'll want to capture them.
