Cottages for families and friends in and around Earls Court

Many holiday cottages to discover!

In Earls Court, whatever time of year, and whoever you are with, we have a few suggestions for essentials to take along. Start with something to keep the rain away. You can never really be sure of the weather. An umbrella and a raincoat are a good start!

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. And then we always make sure we have good supplies with us when we arrive so that we can sit down and have a cup of coffee and perhaps a piece of cake before we start that boring unpacking! We love finding great new cottages, part of the fun of a holiday is not quite knowing where you're going!

Earls Court Accomodation

Wherever you stay in Earls Court there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. Trusting the sun to shine every day is rather optimistic in Earls Court regardless of the time of year.

If the rainclouds arrive it may be a good idea to stay inside and get out a pack of cards or an old fashioned board game. Some cottages will provide a few books and magazines but you aren't likely to get the latest blockbuster or this month's Vogue.

Or you can just embrace the weather and get out there in a raincoat, splash about, and pretend that you really are still young.

Holiday Cottages

When you're searching for the best cottage for your stay, make sure that you've thought through the bedroom needs and allocation. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Earls Court with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Earls Court cottage. If the description of the Earls Court cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

Don't forget to make the most of your holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Families, Friends and More

There are few better ways to spend a holiday together as a family than in a holiday cottage where everyone truly is in one place, not dotted around a hotel. Youngsters are always excited about self-catering breaks, but we've collated a short list of things to help it go smoothly!

First of all, make sure you remember their shampoo, since not all stores in Earls Court will carry tear-free shampoo. A lot of the cottages we've researched do have some basic infant facilities such as cots and high chairs, so definitely ask if you need them.

Finally, remember to take your camera - there's nothing better than seeing smiling, happy faces running around and you'll want to capture them.
