Cottages for families and friends in and around EX8

Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whenever you're travelling to EX8, there are a few things you should always take with you. Start with something to keep the rain away. You can never really be sure of the weather. An umbrella and a raincoat are a good start!

If you have a DVD player in the cottage, definitely take a few great movies. It's so enjoyable to curl up in the evening and watch a classic film. Although you can buy your essential food and drink items locally, it's great to have them with you so you can make a sandwich or a cup of coffee as soon as you arrive. We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

EX8 Accomodation

Wherever you stay in EX8 there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. You can never truly rely on the weather in EX8 or frankly anywhere in the UK.

Although its great to be outside in EX8, you can often have just as much fun with your friends or family if you stay in and play some games. With wi-fi more and more common (but don't expect urban speeds) you could even download a few great tv shows or games.

Or you can just embrace the weather and get out there in a raincoat, splash about, and pretend that you really are still young.

Holiday Cottages

When you're searching for the best cottage for your stay, make sure that you've thought through the bedroom needs and allocation. If you're travelling to EX8 in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the EX8 cottage. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the EX8 cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Wherever you stay, whether it's in EX8 or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Families, Friends and More

The fact that guests are on holiday in EX8 in a rental home together, sometimes with three generations in larger rental holiday homes, brings a much different atmosphere to the cottage break or holiday. When you're so focused on the final destination, its easy to forget to pack some of the basics, so here are a few tips.

First of all, make sure you remember their shampoo, since not all stores in EX8 will carry tear-free shampoo. A long car journey can turn the most engaged children into bored zombies, so take some snacks and have a few games ready to play.

You'll need to think about a few of their favourite books and games to help them feel at home in the cottage and settle in for a good nights sleep.
