EX21 Cottages
Cottages for families and friends in and around EX21

Many holiday cottages to discover!

To make the best of your trip in EX21, we recommend you bring some essential items. You can never be sure of the weather, so take something to protect you from the rain - ideally something that can be packed in a rucksack just in case.

We think a good book is another essential. Not just an opportunity to catch up on your reading, but also to pass the time waiting for everyone else to get themselves ready, or wait out the rain! Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

EX21 Accomodation

Getting outside is one of the great benefits of staying in the countryside since so many of us live in urban centres where the air is polluted and greenery is a rarity. Trusting the sun to shine every day is rather optimistic in EX21 regardless of the time of year.

We live in a country where we're no stranger to rain and preparing for the inevitable downpour is always a good idea. Cottage owners sometimes leave a few distractions around the property, such as local magazines or guidebooks.

Whatever you decide, we're sure it will be a memorable part of your cottage holiday in EX21.

Holiday Cottages

When you're searching for the best cottage for your stay, make sure that you've thought through the bedroom needs and allocation. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to EX21 with you. Many places will accept dogs, but it's always a good idea to double check in advance if it's not mentioned on the booking website.

Don't forget to make the most of your holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Families, Friends and More

Young children and babies can be more easily accommodated for in a holiday cottage where the parents do not feel pressure from other families who may not have young children. When you're travelling as a family with young kids there are several things we recommend you take with you.

Although its not to all parents' tastes, you can buy very cheap in-car DVD players to amuse the kids, and they can often be plugged into the standard power sockets when you arrive. Check whether the cottage can supply cots or high chairs if you need them - you may be surprised how common this is in EX21.

Sometimes just taking a few soft toys from home can make bedtime feel more comfortable in a strange house, and they don't need to take much space in the boot.
