We love cottage holidays and Dorset has some really great destinations and properties to rent, for families or groups of friends. We are focused on delivering the best possible choice of properties around Eype - please take advantage of all the options and find the cottage that is best for you! Your chosen cottage should be clean and tidy on arrival, and if it is not you should inform the owner or agency immediately so that they can sort it out swiftly. A larger number of cottages will accept pets (and for pets, read 'dogs') but you must check first. We often have late availability offers on holiday cottages for family or group bookings but you'll obviously get a restricted choice.
Besides the facilities within the Eype cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. Great weather can never be guaranteed for every day, and there's obviously a chance of a downpour. If the rainclouds arrive it may be a good idea to stay inside and get out a pack of cards or an old fashioned board game. If there's a TV in the property then you can sit around a watch re-runs of quiz shows, comedies and whatever else is on. Or just ignore the rain and get on with whatever you had initially planned and be determined that a little water will not spoil the day.

As a reminder, we do not actually take the cottage bookings, we simply connect your with the agencies or owners. Some of the best cottages in Eype are really excellent and so we encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible to avoid availability disappointment. Owners with often leave instructions on how to use the appliances in the property, as well as some suggestions on the nearest shop to buy a pint of milk etc. Eype cottages range in size and price, but based on our knowledge of the cottage agencies and owners, all should be good quality. If you are travelling from abroad, please make sure that you have the correct visas (if required) and all the passports are up to date.

First of all, make sure you remember their shampoo, since not all stores in Eype will carry tear-free shampoo. A long car journey can turn the most engaged children into bored zombies, so take some snacks and have a few games ready to play.
