Denver Cottages
Cottages for families and friends in and around Denver

Many holiday cottages to discover!

To make the best of your trip in Denver, we recommend you bring some essential items. You can never be sure of the weather, so take something to protect you from the rain - ideally something that can be packed in a rucksack just in case.

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. And then we always make sure we have good supplies with us when we arrive so that we can sit down and have a cup of coffee and perhaps a piece of cake before we start that boring unpacking! We love finding great new cottages, part of the fun of a holiday is not quite knowing where you're going!

Denver Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the Denver cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. Banking on non-stop sunny Norfolk weather, however, can be a little short-sighted.

If the rainclouds arrive it may be a good idea to stay inside and get out a pack of cards or an old fashioned board game. With wi-fi more and more common (but don't expect urban speeds) you could even download a few great tv shows or games.

Whatever you decide, we're sure it will be a memorable part of your cottage holiday in Denver.

Holiday Cottages

When you're searching for the best cottage for your stay, make sure that you've thought through the bedroom needs and allocation. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Many Denver visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Denver cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a Norfolk cottage found through us!

Families, Friends and More

We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in Denver. No worrying about getting to the dining room in time, either before the hotel declares that breakfast is over, or trying to fit in with other b and b guests.

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. Waking up without the alarm, cooking a nice hearty breakfast, perhaps sitting by the river for a spot of fishing or just reading a book.

There's also a growing number of holidaymakers who just want to get really energetic and try new things, including abseiling, rafting, climbing and even potholing.
