Cottages for families and friends in and around Cushendall

Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whatever time you go to Cushendall, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Start with something to keep the rain away. You can never really be sure of the weather. An umbrella and a raincoat are a good start!

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. We're often asked which is the best place to stay, and it's so hard to answer, it really depends what you are looking for.

Cushendall Accomodation

Wherever you stay in Cushendall there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. Trusting the sun to shine every day is rather optimistic in Cushendall regardless of the time of year.

If you find yourself trapped by the rain in Cushendall you should pull out a board game, a good book or perhaps a game of charades! If there's a TV in the property then you can sit around a watch re-runs of quiz shows, comedies and whatever else is on.

Whatever you decide, we're sure it will be a memorable part of your cottage holiday in Cushendall.

Holiday Cottages

When you choose your Cushendall accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to Cushendall with you. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Cushendall cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a Moyle cottage found through us!

Families, Friends and More

Self-catering is an ideal way to holiday in Cushendall. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

And it also gives the freedom of eating out without needing to reorganise any plans in your accomodation. You don't need to tell anyone, just sit down and order! Waking up without the alarm, cooking a nice hearty breakfast, perhaps sitting by the river for a spot of fishing or just reading a book.

For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
