Many holiday cottages to discover!
In Lelant, whatever time of year, and whoever you are with, we have a few suggestions for essentials to take along. Definitely pack some waterproof clothing. There's no such thing as a guarantee against the rain and there's nothing worse than being stuck inside.
If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. We're often asked which is the best place to stay, and it's so hard to answer, it really depends what you are looking for.
Children love to get out of the cottage (not because the cottages aren't great, but because its fun to play outside!) and this is a great benefit of staying in a country cottage. Trusting the sun to shine every day is rather optimistic in Lelant regardless of the time of year.
Although its great to be outside in Lelant, you can often have just as much fun with your friends or family if you stay in and play some games. If there's a TV in the property then you can sit around a watch re-runs of quiz shows, comedies and whatever else is on.
Wer're sure you'll come up with a great plan, but it might help to have one in advance. Just in case!
Whether you're going away with friends or family to Lelant, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?
If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to Lelant with you. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Lelant cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!
We want you to have a great Cornwall holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.
Families, Friends and More
Families love cottage holidays because they can run to their own schedule, managing everyone's unique needs in the privacy of a comfortable home. Youngsters are always excited about self-catering breaks, but we've collated a short list of things to help it go smoothly!
First of all, make sure you remember their shampoo, since not all stores in Lelant will carry tear-free shampoo. A lot of the cottages we've researched do have some basic infant facilities such as cots and high chairs, so definitely ask if you need them.
Sometimes just taking a few soft toys from home can make bedtime feel more comfortable in a strange house, and they don't need to take much space in the boot.
