Chertsey Cottages
Cottages for families and friends in and around Chertsey

Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whatever time you go to Chertsey, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Rainproof clothing and a light umbrella should be the first things to pack. The rain only comes when you are not prepared.

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. And then we always make sure we have good supplies with us when we arrive so that we can sit down and have a cup of coffee and perhaps a piece of cake before we start that boring unpacking! We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

Chertsey Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the Chertsey cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. As we all know, the weather isn't always idyllic - in fact it can be largely unpredictable.

Although its great to be outside in Chertsey, you can often have just as much fun with your friends or family if you stay in and play some games. If there's a TV in the property then you can sit around a watch re-runs of quiz shows, comedies and whatever else is on.

Wer're sure you'll come up with a great plan, but it might help to have one in advance. Just in case!

Holiday Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Chertsey with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to Chertsey with you. Not all places will welcome pets so please make sure that it's either clearly marked on the booking website, or if not drop a quick line to the owner to make sure.

Wherever you stay, whether it's in Chertsey or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Families, Friends and More

Self-catering is an ideal way to holiday in Chertsey. We like the freedom of eating meals when we want. There's something wrong with taking a holiday and then finding out that you have to get up early or you miss the breakfast you've paid for.

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. A large number of our visitors like to use their stay as an opportunity to just put their feet up, gaze at the scenery, take an afternoon nap, and enjoy a nice home cooked meal. Just taking it easy in Chertsey.

For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
