If you are looking for a great British break then a cottage holiday could be the perfect answer for you, your friends or your family. And booking your Bourn cottage couldn't be simpler, just narrow down the accommodation you're looking for and click on the one you like the most! Large or small cottage, holiday makers have the freedom to eat in, eat out, stay in bed all day and generally come and go as they please - unlike a bed and breakfast. Dog owners favour cottage holidays because many properties will not just allow pets but provide a few basic supplies. We can help if you're looking for a holiday cottage or other accommodation in Bourn to stay in with your family for a week or two or somewhere in Bourn to stay with friends over a long weekend.

Benefits of staying in a county cottage include being able to jump out of the front door and take part in outdoor pursuits from walking to horse riding, and from fishing to paddling. Great weather can never be guaranteed for every day, and there's obviously a chance of a downpour. Although its great to be outside in Bourn, you can often have just as much fun with your friends or family if you stay in and play some games. With wi-fi more and more common (but don't expect urban speeds) you could even download a few great tv shows or games. Or you can just embrace the weather and get out there in a raincoat, splash about, and pretend that you really are still young.
Our site does not make reservations directly and so we ask that any queries you have with the Bourn cottage are taken up with the owner or agency. Nearly all country cottages have free parking near the property, but you may find the urban cottages to have more parking restrictions. The owners may leave some hints for good places to visit nearby and on occasion we've even found that they'll suggest a specific pub or restaurant where you can get a discount. Bourn has long been popular as a place to stay and we encourage you to investigate the surrounding area as much as possible. Some people ask whether bed linens and towels are provide, and in our experience linen is yes, towels can be no - but you should check with the owner / agency.

Young children and babies can be more easily accommodated for in a holiday cottage where the parents do not feel pressure from other families who may not have young children. Young children are always excited about self-catering breaks, but we've collated a short list of things to help it go smoothly! Whether there's a pool attached to the property, or in the nearby leisure centre, swimming trunks and swimming costumes are easy to forget. A lot of the cottages we've researched do have some basic infant facilities such as cots and high chairs, so definitely ask if you need them. Clothes for the full range of weather; just because you don't think that it looks good outside in the rain it doesn't mean that the little ones will agree.
