Camber Accomodation

Camber holiday accommodation rates increase in peak season, which is generally around the times of the school summer holidays. July and August are usually East Sussex school summer holidays.

Summer half-term usually appears in the first couple of weeks in June, although different types of schools have different dates. It's recommended to make an early booking to ensure your date, especially during high season, but it's not impossible to find a last minute opportunity.

Cottage agencies are growing in size as a greater number of independents sign up with them. As a consumer this has a positive impact - in theory the facilities and standards are kept to a pre-agreed level.

If you are travelling from abroad, please make sure that you have the correct visas (if required) and all the passports are up to date.

Families, Friends and More

Self-catering always makes your holiday more relaxing in Camber. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

Eat what you want, whenever you want it. And of course that's particularly good if anyone in your party suffers from food allergies or has other dietary requirements. For many people the idea of a Camber cottage holiday allows them to relax, take long rambling walks and stop off at a country pub for a pint and a ploughman's lunch.

On the other hand, there's a growing proportion of visitors who use their time away from home to get fitter and try new things - such as mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing.
