Cottages for families and friends in and around CW3

Many holiday cottages to discover!

We love cottage holidays have some really great destinations and properties to rent, for families or groups of friends. The vast majority of our self-catering properties are cottages in rural towns and villages, but we do have some city based properties, many of which are apartments.

The best family rental holiday cottages in CW3 are typically small homes for rent that can be treated like your own home for the duration of your cottage holiday. Always check with the CW3 cottage owner before you take pets - although many are pet friendly. Our great value holiday cottages to rent in CW3 are sometimes available for rent for a weekend, week, fortnight, two weeks or even longer.

CW3 Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the CW3 cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. Trusting the sun to shine every day is rather optimistic in CW3 regardless of the time of year.

If the rainclouds arrive it may be a good idea to stay inside and get out a pack of cards or an old fashioned board game. With wi-fi more and more common (but don't expect urban speeds) you could even download a few great tv shows or games.

Or just ignore the rain and get on with whatever you had initially planned and be determined that a little water will not spoil the day.

Holiday Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to CW3, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the CW3 cottage. Many places will accept dogs, but it's always a good idea to double check in advance if it's not mentioned on the booking website.

Don't forget to make the most of your holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Families, Friends and More

There are few better ways to spend a holiday together as a family than in a holiday cottage where everyone truly is in one place, not dotted around a hotel. When you're travelling as a family with young kids there are several things we recommend you take with you.

Its always a good idea to take swim suits even if you don't expect to be near a beach because you may well find a local swimming pool can be great fun. A lot of the cottages we've researched do have some basic infant facilities such as cots and high chairs, so definitely ask if you need them.

Sometimes just taking a few soft toys from home can make bedtime feel more comfortable in a strange house, and they don't need to take much space in the boot.
