Many holiday cottages to discover!

If you want to have the best cottage holiday possible in CV15, we suggest a few key items to take along. You can never be sure of the weather, so take something to protect you from the rain - ideally something that can be packed in a rucksack just in case.

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. We love finding great new cottages, part of the fun of a holiday is not quite knowing where you're going!

CV15 Accomodation

CV15 holiday accommodation rates increase in peak season, which is generally around the times of the school summer holidays. The school summer holidays generally run from the middle of July to late August.

Half term in the summer extends across the first half of June, as different schools break up at different times. Although we really encourage you too book your cottage early, there are opportunities for last minute bookings, so it can be worth checking.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

Holiday Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to CV15, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the CV15 cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a cottage found through us!

Families, Friends and More

Young children and babies can be more easily accommodated for in a holiday cottage where the parents do not feel pressure from other families who may not have young children. Young children can make your stay even more fun, and we have a few suggestions of things to bring.

Although its not to all parents' tastes, you can buy very cheap in-car DVD players to amuse the kids, and they can often be plugged into the standard power sockets when you arrive. If the children are really young, don't forget to take nappies and / or a potty as you may find it harder to buy these at your destination.

Finally, remember to take your camera - there's nothing better than seeing smiling, happy faces running around and you'll want to capture them.
