Whatever time you go to CV15, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Rainproof clothing and a light umbrella should be the first things to pack. The rain only comes when you are not prepared.

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

CV15 Accomodation

In CV15, high season tends to match the summer school holidays, with mid-season a month either side. The summer holiday period (for schools) runs from mid-July through the whole of August.

If you want to avoid half-term in the summer, draw a line through the first two weeks of June. Last minute bookings are alway possible, though clearly your choices will be fewer. It really is worth booking early.

Many cottage owners have signed themselves up with national agencies to help with the marketing and administration, which also helps keep standards to a certain level.

Holiday Cottages

We deal with some of the best cottage agencies in the country so we're confident that they will resolve any small issues you may encounter. Nearly all country cottages have free parking near the property, but you may find the urban cottages to have more parking restrictions.

Although you may not be familiar with the CV15 area you'll usually find that the owners have left a welcome manual with details of local places to eat, drink and buy supplies. CV15 has long been popular as a place to stay and we encourage you to investigate the surrounding area as much as possible.

Some people ask whether bed linens and towels are provide, and in our experience linen is yes, towels can be no - but you should check with the owner / agency.

Families, Friends and More

The best part of going on holiday with a family is the sense of comfort you all get when walking into a CV15 holiday cottage - where everything there is designed to make your stay better! When you're so focused on the final destination, its easy to forget to pack some of the basics, so here are a few tips.

Whether there's a swimming pool attached to the property, or in the nearby leisure centre, swimming trunks and swimming costumes are easy to forget. Check whether the cottage can supply cots or high chairs if you need them - you may be surprised how common this is in CV15.

Finally, remember to take your camera - there's nothing better than seeing smiling, happy faces running around and you'll want to capture them.
