Large or small cottage, holiday makers have the freedom to eat in, eat out, stay in bed all day and generally come and go as they please - unlike a bed and breakfast. We know many of our visitors like to take their dogs with them and many cottages now allow this. We can help if you're looking for a holiday cottage or other accommodation in Brighton to stay in with your family for a week or two or somewhere in Brighton to stay with friends over a long weekend.

Brighton Accomodation

Throughout the Cornwall area rates will vary quite a bit throughout the year - clearly the winter is the cheapest time. July and August are usually Cornwall school summer holidays.

Summer half-term usually appears in the first couple of weeks in June, although different types of schools have different dates. Last minute bookings are alway possible, though clearly your choices will be fewer. It really is worth booking early.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

Holiday Cottages

When you choose your Brighton accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. If you're travelling to Brighton in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Wherever you stay, whether it's in Brighton or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Families, Friends and More

The fact that guests are on holiday in Brighton in a rental home together, sometimes with three generations in larger rental holiday homes, brings a much different atmosphere to the cottage break or holiday. Youngsters are always excited about self-catering breaks, but we've collated a short list of things to help it go smoothly!

Whether there's a swimming pool attached to the property, or in the nearby leisure centre, swimming trunks and swimming costumes are easy to forget. A long car journey can turn the most engaged children into bored zombies, so take some snacks and have a few games ready to play.

Clothes for the full range of weather; just because you don't think that it looks good outside in the rain it doesn't mean that the little ones will agree.
