Cottage owners expect you to leave the property in the same condition as you found it - clean and tidy - and will almost always provide cleaning materials for you. Dog owners favour cottage holidays because many properties will not just allow pets but provide a few basic supplies. We often have late availability cottages to rent in Bray for all seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Bray Accomodation

Throughout the Berkshire area rates will vary quite a bit throughout the year - clearly the winter is the cheapest time. School holidays tend to be mid-July to the end of August.

Half term dates are different for different schools, but normally summer half-term is around the first two weeks of June. It's recommended to make an early booking to ensure your date, especially during high season, but it's not impossible to find a last minute opportunity.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

When you choose your Bray accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. Not all places will welcome pets so please make sure that it's either clearly marked on the booking website, or if not drop a quick line to the owner to make sure.

Don't forget to make the most of your Berkshire holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Families, Friends and More

The fact that guests are on holiday in Bray in a rental home together, sometimes with three generations in larger rental holiday homes, brings a much different atmosphere to the cottage break or holiday. We've prepared a handy shortlist of things to remember for your holiday with kids, just to help the whole experience go well.

Its always a good idea to take swim suits even if you don't expect to be near a beach because you may well find a local swimming pool can be great fun. If the children are really young, don't forget to take nappies and / or a potty as you may find it harder to buy these at your destination.

You'll need to think about a few of their favourite books and games to help them feel at home in the cottage and settle in for a good nights sleep.
