Cottages for families and friends in and around Brantham

Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whenever you're travelling to Brantham, there are a few things you should always take with you. Rainproof clothing and a light umbrella should be the first things to pack. The rain only comes when you are not prepared.

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.

Brantham Accomodation

Cottage prices in Brantham will range from high to low throughout the year, but clearly the summer months will be the most expensive as remand increases. Mid-July til the end of August are the core weeks for the Brantham school summer holidays.

Half term in the summer extends across the first half of June, as different schools break up at different times. It's recommended to make an early booking to ensure your date, especially during high season, but it's not impossible to find a last minute opportunity.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

Holiday Cottages

When you're searching for the best cottage for your stay, make sure that you've thought through the bedroom needs and allocation. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Most dog owners like to take their four legged friends away with them on trips to Brantham. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Don't forget to make the most of your Suffolk holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Families, Friends and More

The best part of going on holiday with a family is the sense of comfort you all get when walking into a Brantham holiday cottage - where everything there is designed to make your stay better! When you're travelling as a family with young kids there are several things we recommend you take with you.

First of all, make sure you remember their shampoo, since not all stores in Brantham will carry tear-free shampoo. If the children are really young, don't forget to take nappies and / or a potty as you may find it harder to buy these at your destination.

Finally, remember to take your camera - there's nothing better than seeing smiling, happy faces running around and you'll want to capture them.
