Many holiday cottages to discover!

If you want to have the best cottage holiday possible in Boscastle, we suggest a few key items to take along. Preparing for a little rain is always a good plan. An umbrella and an anorak or rain coat can get everyone smiling even on the worse days.

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. There are obviously local stores that can supply you with all the food you need, but we always like to arrive with coffee, tea bags, a pint of milk, a bar of chocolate and some bread and butter for the toaster - it's good to get the energy up after a long journey. We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

Boscastle Accomodation

Wherever you stay in Boscastle there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. As we all know, the weather isn't always idyllic - in fact it can be largely unpredictable.

We live in a country where we're no stranger to rain and preparing for the inevitable downpour is always a good idea. Many cottages now have DVD players so maybe its worth taking a few a classic movies with you.

Wer're sure you'll come up with a great plan, but it might help to have one in advance. Just in case!

Holiday Cottages

Our site does not make reservations directly and so we ask that any queries you have with the Boscastle cottage are taken up with the owner or agency. It is of course possible that you need to cancel your Boscastle holiday cottage so ensure you read the cancellation terms on the agency or owners website / contract.

Owners with often leave instructions on how to use the appliances in the property, as well as some suggestions on the nearest shop to buy a pint of milk etc. If you're travelling from a long way, you may not know much about Boscastle so we suggest a little research in advance to find the best attractions.

We hope you have a really enjoyable holiday in Boscastle and remember us next year when it comes to finding the next great Cornwall cottage.

Families, Friends and More

There are many benefits to a self-catering holiday in Boscastle. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

Eat what you want, whenever you want it. And of course that's particularly good if anyone in your party suffers from food allergies or has other dietary requirements. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in Boscastle.

But you may want to get out and burn some energy on bikes, climb a hill or mountain, or even try canoeing. Whatever you choose, please take the right clothing and equipment with you.
