Bargoed Cottages
Cottages for families and friends in and around Bargoed

Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whatever time you go to Bargoed, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Definitely pack some waterproof clothing. There's no such thing as a guarantee against the rain and there's nothing worse than being stuck inside.

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. And then we always make sure we have good supplies with us when we arrive so that we can sit down and have a cup of coffee and perhaps a piece of cake before we start that boring unpacking! Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.

Bargoed Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the Bargoed cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. You can never truly rely on the weather in Bargoed or frankly anywhere in the UK.

Although its great to be outside in Bargoed, you can often have just as much fun with your friends or family if you stay in and play some games. Cottage owners sometimes leave a few distractions around the property, such as local magazines or guidebooks.

Wer're sure you'll come up with a great plan, but it might help to have one in advance. Just in case!

Holiday Cottages

In the unlikely event that you are not delighted with your holiday cottage in Bargoed please email or call the agency you made the booking with. Should you need to cancel your accommodation, again we ask you to contact the agent or owner since we cannot talk to them on your behalf.

Owners with often leave instructions on how to use the appliances in the property, as well as some suggestions on the nearest shop to buy a pint of milk etc. Bargoed has long been popular as a place to stay and we encourage you to investigate the surrounding area as much as possible.

Some properties will ask for a security deposit before your arrival date - although this is required in a minority of accommodation and you will be advised at time of booking.

Families, Friends and More

The best part of going on holiday with a family is the sense of comfort you all get when walking into a Bargoed holiday cottage - where everything there is designed to make your stay better! Young children can make your stay even more fun, and we have a few suggestions of things to bring.

First of all, make sure you remember their shampoo, since not all stores in Bargoed will carry tear-free shampoo. A long car journey can turn the most engaged children into bored zombies, so take some snacks and have a few games ready to play.

Finally, remember to take your camera - there's nothing better than seeing smiling, happy faces running around and you'll want to capture them.
